Iconic Building on
Trent Bridge
In late 2009 we took an iconic Nottingham building that lay derelict for a number of years and lovingly restored it.
This was certainly our biggest challenge to date, as this site was almost three times the size of the first two. 150 Capacity function room, 120 Capacity restaurant with 30 cap entrance bar holding room. 250 Capacity Bar, and 400 Capacity Outside Terrace.

We launched late spring 2010 as The Riverbank Bar & Kitchen.

It was an instant hit . Located on Trent Bridge , affording visitors idyllic views over the river from the huge terrace where there were covered , heated areas , a large firepit and outside bar.
Consistency is Key
Inside there was a chic, brasserie-style restaurant serving fresh modern cuisine. We implemented all the same ethos of fresh food , unobtrusive service and great drinks that our other 2 venues had. The bar was food focused throughout the day and early evening and then turned into an entertainment venue later at night where live music and Djs took centre stage .The original offering was tapas and small plates then we also introduced a Pizza offering too which was really popular and profitable.
Creative
Upstairs was a separate function room where we employed a sales team to make sure the space was used to its full potential. We hosted conferences, weddings (we got a license to marry also) Special food events, meeting , wakes and product launches.
Being so close to Nottingham Forest, Trent Bridge Cricket Ground and Notts County made it a hub for sports fans too.
We traded it for 7 Years and are super proud of what we achieved there .
Events
We learned a lot about larger sites as it was virtually 3 venues in 1 and we also gained invaluable experience in operating large events with not only local but also international artists .
Even though the new owners changed the concept you can still see a lot of our imprint on the place and people still talk about their love for the Venue to this day
